The Tebow legacy continues to grow this week as our wunderkind quarterback/battering ram picked up the Davey O’Brien Award, as the nation’s top quarterback and the Maxwell Award, as the nation’s best all-round player. Tebow joins Danny Wuerffel as the only other Gator to win either award (Wueffel – Maxwell 96’, O’Brien 95’ & 96’).

Make room fellas, you are about to have company
However, Tebow was shut out on the Lou Groza award. Apparently kicking ass does not fit the parameters of what award coordinators were looking for in naming the nation’s best kicker. Oh well, next year Tim, next year. You wouldn’t have room for it on your particle board dresser anyway after this Saturday night. If the boys at stiffarmtrophy.com are any good at what they do (and they claim impeccable results!), you will have fulfilled the HE15MAN prophecy.
When I ate at the Golden Panda Express China Super Buffet last April and my fortune cookie fortune said “A half century plus one touchdowns yield fifteen gator big apple trip for trophy.” At the time, I thought clearly I need to stop drinking so heavily because I can’t even read this. But I put it in my pocket and found it the next day. Holy slanty eyed surprise, the Chinese CAN tell the future! They just can’t keep sanitary kitchens.
Now when am I going to get that fortune I’ve always wanted…“Abusive drinking good for health, wife wants threesome, lotto win on horizon.”

Sure, but only if she's not in the mood.
Congrats to #15 on the awards. I’m anticipating more congrats for him tomorrow.
